MOST ANTICIPATED FILM- HONG KONG BUSINESS AWARDS
At the 2018 Hong Kong Business Awards, ALADDIN 3477 won for Most Anticipated Film Project. Early in the production, Director Matt Busch and Producer Lin Zy spent time in Hong Kong getting inspiration and filming background plates for where this futuristic Aladdin would call home.
While some familiar with Disney’s version of Aladdin might find it odd that the street rat resides in Hong Kong rather than the Middle East, the original Aladdin tale from 1,001 Nights actually takes place in China. Busch’s vision was also a global adventure, primarily set throughout Asia and India.
While the Cast & Crew were not able to attend the huge event hosted by Apac Magazine, this video shares the intimate celebration they had on their own, amidst nearing the end of the epic production. Check it out!
