BLUE STAHLI CAMEO IN ALADDIN 3477! (With Videos!)
FiXT Recording Artist Blue Stahli has just been revealed as having a cameo in the live-action science fiction Aladdin 3477 movie! Blue Stahli is a gentleman named Bret who you’ve likely already heard his music in movies, trailers, and TV shows such as X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, The Wolverine, Iron Man 3, Star Trek Into Darkness, Tron Legacy, American Horror Story and The Big Bang Theory.
Of course, Blue Stahli has world-wide fans that appreciate his music outside of the Hollywood properties you often hear it with. Check out the music video below for one of his recent singles: ULTRAnumb.
The part that Blue Stahli plays is a character named Maikel, a security guard. The scene takes place in an U.B.A. (Utility Baring Android) Factory in Düsseldorf, Germany in the year 3477. Bret even learned his lines in German for the role.
Director Matt Busch elaborates on how Bret was pegged for the role, “I’m a huge fan of Blue Stahli. This scene is a little out there- It’s a little removed from the rest of the movie, both in location and the look and feel. This is the only scene that takes place in Europe, and the rest of the movie is all in the Eastern part of the world. So there’s this eclectic vibe to it.” Busch was aware that Bret is an aficionado of directors like David Lynch and more exotic science fiction films like The Fifth Element. “This scene definitely has some of that European flavor to it. It’s also very comical, and Bret was the perfect choice to bring it all together.”
Bret also filmed part of his experience on the set, in a video featurette called StahliVision that he produces once a week on his YouTube Channel. The video includes a look at Producer/Actress Lin Zy putting on some make-up and tattoos, Production Supervisor/Sound Designer Ric Viers running around the set, and Director Matt Busch gushing about his Blue Stahli fandom. Check out the video below!
